
Partnership for Children Offers Workshop as Part of Architect's of Children's Learning Series
Conscious Discipline is a comprehensive classroom management program and a social-emotional curriculum. It is based on current brain research, child development information, and developmentally appropriate practices. It is specifically designed to make changes in the lives of adults first, and then in turn, change the lives of children. This training will be a series of workshops that is geared to empower early childhood professionals who want to learn skills needed to appropriately manage children’s behaviors and learn to how to effectively form relationships, communicate, be sensitive to other’s needs and get along with others. Come learn how to make this approach fit into your everyday teaching practices by being creating a classroom environment that cultivates positive behaviors.
Sessions are set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening as follows: October 9 - RCC Asheboro; December 11 - RCC Archdale; February 12 - RCC Asheboro; and May 14 - RCC Archdale. Sessions will be facilitated by Joy Venable.
